----------Sorry I missed yesterday's post. Busy at work tying up loose ends before I go on leave, which never happened anyway and I'll be doing work whilst on leave as well. Poor me. If you get a "fine" from a private car parking company in Australia, you are not obliged to pay it. Keep notes, but never admit anything to them even if you can prove that you're not at fault (especially if they leave a ticket on your car) and never respond to them as they have then got your details in their database (which they would otherwise have to use a court order to obtain) and can use any info you've given them against you. It is not enforceable and there's plenty of info online showing how you can deal with these bastards. Council parking fines, on the other hand, you need to pay up or else :)
